Rethinking your employee retirement plans?

Changing pension legislation and competitive pressures have prompted employers to take a look at their employee retirement plans.  Government agencies are scrutinizing costs that participants are paying for recordkeeping services. Between investment costs and recordkeeping costs a large percentage of investment growth is going to simply cover costs and not providing benefits.

A 401(k) Plan should not be the same as day trading!   A retirement is a long term commitment and should be treated as such. Therefore why pay the costs, or make your participants pay it, for daily recordkeeping?  Balance-forward Recordkeeping offers frequent valuations (often monthly), allows frequent investment changes but doesn’t have the high costs of daily recordkeeping.

The mutual fund industry has made plan sponsors think that daily recordkeeping is a benefit to participants; the only one who benefits from daily recordkeeping is the mutual fund industry.

With balance forward recordkeeping you get to pick whatever investment options offer the best returns and the most reasonable fees.

Since The Revzon Consulting Group does not take any 12b1 fees we don’t care which investment option you choose; remember your fiduciary duty makes it imperative to administer the plan for the sole benefit of the participants.

Fortunately, there’s a 401(k) recordkeeping firm to help you meet your fiduciary responsibility - The Revzon Consulting Group.  We offer excellent recordkeeping and administrative services at low costs.
